Mike Williamson is the host of “Mike Williamson & Friends”; a radio program on 99.3 FM WTPB, Rockford, IL. His band, The Mike Williamson Trio, perform regularly at The Butterfly Club in Beloit, WI, and on the last Friday of every month at The Stockholm Inn in Rockford, IL. In 2015, Mike won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) and Composer of the Year along with his songwriting collaborator Bruce L. Warden. He was honored to be placed in the “RAMI Hall Of Fame” and the “Magic Monday” benefit for the American Cancer Society ran for 16 years at the Rockford Metro Centre (now BMO) and Coronado Theater. This will be Mike’s fourth season performing with the DeKalb Municipal Band.

• The Lettermen being instrumental in getting Mike started in the music business and he has appeared quite a few times as a guest singer with them at some of their concerts.
• The Mike Williamson Trio’s musical revue shows play throughout the Midwest for tour groups, corporate bookings, etc. and have played in St. Louis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and Madison, WI
• “Mike Williamson & Friends” gives Mike the opportunity to not only play his music, but that of his talented friends like Maureen Christine and John Smith’s Shananigans Dance Orchestra. Mike’s radio show streams live at www.wtpblp.com at the scheduled times.
• The “Magic Monday” benefit for the American Cancer Society was recognized by President’s Ford, Reagan and Bush (H.W.) and many celebrities including Jimmy Stewart, Paul Anka, Johnny Mathis and Bob Hope.
