The Palmer Family Music Education Scholarship Fund was established at the DeKalb County Community Foundation by Dee Palmer and other supporters in 2009.

This fund is a permanent endowment fund with the DeKalb County Community Foundation.  The Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarships to DeKalb County residents who are graduating high school and going on to study for a career in music at a qualifying institution, supporting music career options in performance and music education.

Scholarship recipients are selected by an independent committee each spring. Applications open February 1st and close April 1st every year. Click here for more information on the scholarship and to see past recipients.
